Game Zone 2k17 is the annual event organized by Association of Computing & Information Systems Students (ACISS). The event was open to all four faculties of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka. There were many player participants from all four faculties to the event and they gave good competion to each faculty. As a special guest, head of the department of Computing & Information Systems, Dr. V.G.T.N. Vidanagama also participated to the event. Faculty of Applied Sciences provided all the equipment necessary to make this event a success.  Wayoscope Legacy provided full media coverage to the event as media partner.

In the event Call of Duty 4 multiplayer session took the main place and there were also Need For Speed multiplayer session and Mortal Kombat X sessions.

Congrats to all the winning teams & players and cheers to all participants for giving good competition. As ACISS we hope for your participation for the next year as well.

Virtusa Workshop - 2017

The department of Computing and Information Systems (CMIS) organized an industry workshop conducted by Virtusa (pvt.) Ltd. on 10th August 2017 for the Applied Sciences Students. It focused on current employment opportunities in software industry and the knowledge and skills that they are expecting from our graduates cialis super active online. They elaborated on the skills that students should acquire and improve while they are in the university. This workshop encouraged students to become a “Software Industry Oriented Graduates".
