Scope of Our Duties

Basic strategies of the Engineer’s Office (Department of Maintenance) is to be enhanced and do the improvements of the University facilities and specially to maintain a pleasant environment for the students of six faculties and the Academic and Non Academic staff at the Kuliyapitiya, Makandura and Labuyaya premises. The Engineer’s office mainly committed to following duties and responsibilities, but not limited to:

Manage the All Major and Minor Construction works in the University.

Handling Design and Built Projects.

Preparing BOQs and Specifications.

Design and drafting of building related various drawings.

Checking Bills.

Technical Evaluations of Construction works and Supply of Goods.

Maintain the students’ hostels, staff quarters, guesthouses, cafeterias and all other building belongs to the six faculties as well as whole.

Maintenance work in the University.

Conduct the AHEAD Project and Township Project of the Whole Premises.

Ensure supply of uninterrupted water and electricity for all premises.

Handling the All Rehabilitation works.
