The Wayamba University of Sri Lanka (WUSL) ceremonially signed a MoU with Federal State – Funded Educational Institution of Higher Education, Kursk State Agrarian University, Russia on 22nd June 2023 aiming academic and scientific co-operation, knowledge and expertise exchange in the fields of undergraduate and postgraduate education and research between the Faculty of Agriculture & Plantation Management (FAPM) and Kursk State Agrarian University (KSAU).
The ceremony was graced by Senior Professor Udith Jayasinghe-Mudalige, Vice Chancellor – Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, Prof. Janitha Liyanage, H.E. the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russia, Prof. Jagath Edirisinghe, Dean – Faculty of Agriculture and Plantation Management, and Mr. Don Chithrananda, Registrar -Wayamba University of Sri Lanka and Prof. Alexander Musyal, Rector – Kursk Agricultural University with the presence of Embassy Officials and Academic Staff members via online.
FAPM had conducted a series of knowledge exchange programmes including conferences, webinars and youth programmes with KSAU over the years.
