The Staff Development Center (SDC) of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka (WUSL) awarded the course certificates to the candidates who successfully completed the Certificate Course on Staff Development (CCSD 11th intake), Higher Diploma in Teaching Methodology and Education Management (HDTMEM 2nd intake), and Professional Diploma in Teaching Technology and Methodology (PDTTM 8th Intake) at the Certificate Awarding ceremony, 2021 held at the Mini Auditorium of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka on the 7th April 2021.
The ceremony was graced by the chief guest, Snr. Prof. Udith K. Jayasinghe, Vice Chancellor of the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, and the guest of honor and keynote speaker, Prof. Priyantha Perera, Professor in Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya. Adjunct to the main Awarding Ceremony two new books were also launched by the SDC namely; “A Guide to Promote Learner Engagement and Experience: Novel Approaches” and “Learner Engagement and Experience in Focus: Challenges, Opportunities, and Way Forward”, edited by Prof. M.M.D.R. Deegahawature, Director of the SDC.
