The new intake of medical students from GCE A/L 2020 were ceremonially inaugurated on the 6th of January 2022. The ceremony was graced by Dr. P.G.C.S. Bowatte, acting Vice-chancellor of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chief Guest Vidya Jyothi Prof. Vajira H. W. Dissanayake, President of Sri Lanka Medical Council, with the participation of Deans of the Faculties of the university, Registrar of the University, Academic Staff, Senior Assistant Registrar, new students and their parents.
This is the fourth intake of medical students enrolled to the to this newly established faculty and we wish the students all the very best for their new academic journey.
