The Library Quality Assurance Cell (LQAC) of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka organized a workshop on the Conservation and Preservation of Library Materials with the objective of enhancing knowledge, practical skills, and service quality among library support staff. The programme was conducted on 19 May 2026 by Mr. APMMDB Dayananda, Assistant Librarian/ Reader Services at the main library, for the Library Attendants and Book Binder of the Wayamba University Library Network.

The program was conducted on February 25th, 2026, by Dr. EMCL Ekanayake, Systems Analyst for the Wayamba University Library Network.
The Acting Librarian delivered an introductory session on library facilities and services at the Orientation Programme for the 2025 Intake of the Master’s Degree programme in Human Nutrition / Dietetics / Global Public Health Nutrition, held on 31 January 2026 at the FLFN Mini Auditorium, Makandura premises.The session aimed to familiarize newly enrolled postgraduate students with the library’s learning resources, access procedures, and support services.
