The second batch of the Faculty of Medicine in Wayamba University of Sri Lanka (WUSL) marked yet another milestone by sending out the second batch of medical students for their clinical appointments at Teaching Hospital, Kuliyapitiya. The inauguration took place on 17st February 2022 at Kuliyapitiya with Dr. Prabhath Werawatte, Director of the Teaching Hospital Kuliyapitiya, Dr. Sanjeewa Bowatte, Acting Vice-chancellor of WUSL and the Dean of FOM, the consultant staff and the staff of the para-clinical and clinical Departments of FOM gracing the occasion.
The students were well received by the Teaching Hospital and the training will be done as an honorary service by the Health Ministry consultants.
