The Medical Research Symposium (MedRES – 2026) is the inaugural research symposium organised by the Faculty of Medicine, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka. The event provides a platform for medical undergraduates, academic and non acedemic staff, postgraduate students, and clinical collaborators to showcase their research and innovations.
The symposium reflects the faculty’s vision of fostering a vibrant research culture that addresses national health priorities while promoting global academic exchange.
