Team PANDORA a group of final year undergraduate students from the Faculty of Technology and the Faculty of Applied Sciences proudly won the 5th place out of 60 teams at the NASA Space Apps Challenge, Colombo in October 2020. They designed a creative platform with multiple robot arms to do assembling in space instead of astronauts. NASA Space Apps Challenge, Colombo is a multi-disciplinary global hackathon where more of our Wayamba University student team “Mars Attackers” also had their creative thoughts contested in the challenge.
